JUNE 2022 SCHOOL HOLIDAY CAMP

🥳 HIP HIP HOORAY!! 🙌🏻 Our annual school holiday camp is finally back again to keep our kids occupied & inspired throughout this semester break with fun & engaging educational activities!! 🤩

This year, we are bringing our kids under the sea!!🌊🧜🏼‍♀️🫧They will be escaping into the depths of the ocean to discover the wonders of marine life! 🤩🪸🫧🐡🦈

Day 1: It's the first day under the sea & our kids have dropped by to say "HI!" to their sea friends! 😁👋🏻🐋 Our exciting activities lined up for our kids have allowed them meet more sea friends & learn to protect their sea friends!! 🧜🏼‍♀️

Day 2: 🧜🏼‍♀️🥳 Our kids dived into learning the names of their sea friends! 👋🏻🐋 Also, we talked about the need of specific body parts of their sea friends for survival! 🦈🧐

Because our kids were fascinated 🤩 by the sea animals, our in-house "marine biologists" 🤭 dived them in for a short crafting session! 🎨 Our lil' ones got to work on their motor skills as they work to make pufferfish 🐡 & sea turtle 🐢 SO CUTE!! 😍

Day 3: We celebrated World Ocean Day! 🌊🪸

Day 4: We visited our sea friend, Mr Turtle! 🐢👋🏻😁 Sea turtles play a vital role in supporting productive oceans. They help maintain coral reef ecosystems & transport essential nutrients from the oceans 🪸to beaches 🏝️ & coastal dunes 🌊Sea turtles 🐢 are a “keystone species,” which means they are an essential part of their environment & they influence other species around them 🧐

🤓In Day 4's expedition, we explored the basics of the life & evolution of sea turtles, the number & kind of sea turtles, life cycle of sea turtles & the environmental challenges facing sea turtles today! 🐢🫧

Hmmm 🤔 it seems like Mr Turtle & his families need some help. "Don't worry Mr Turtle! We are here to the rescue! 🦸🏻🦸🏻‍♂️"

We are pleased that our lil ones are now committed to the protection, conservation & recovery of sea turtles! 🥰👏🏼👏🏼

Day 5: 🌊🧜🏼‍♀️ Our deep-sea adventure has come to an end today 🥺

To wrap up the incredible expedition, we celebrated with our kids by watching a movie 🎞️ that features the ocean , titled “Finding Dory🐟”. The kids were screaming with excitement when they saw their sea friends talking for the first time! 🤣🤣 We’re elated that our kids were able to identify their sea friends under the sea when asked “who lives under the sea?" during the movie 🐢🦭🐟🪸 Good job children! 💯👏🏼

✨With a little creativity & imagination, we took our kids on their last sea adventure through a mini aquarium 🐠🫧🪸 They were mesmerised seeing their sea friends in real life for the first time! 🪸🐡🤩
