MAD SCIENTIST 2.0 HOLIDAY CAMP - OBSERVATIONS FROM MOULDY BREAD & SODA AND EGG BRUSHING EXPERIMENTS🍞🔬

As we move forward with our Mad Scientist 2.0 Holiday Camp, our lil' scientists took some time to revisit the results of their earlier experiments & they made some fascinating observations! 🧐

🍞 Mouldy Bread Experiment

Our lil' ones were excited to see how the bread had changed over two days. They observed spots of mould growth on some slices while others remained mold-free. The kids also discussed the importance of proper food storage & hygiene, understanding why some bread slices remained mold-free due to cleaner handling & better storage conditions.

🥤Soda & Egg Brushing Experiment

Our lil' ones examined the eggshells that had been soaking in different liquids (soda, water, and juice). They noticed significant discolouration & softening in the eggshells that were in soda, compared to minimal changes in the eggshells soaked in water. Our lil' ones understood how sugary drinks can harm teeth, emphasizing the need for regular brushing & healthy drink choices! 🤓

We're so proud of our young scientists for their keen observations & the thoughtful discussions that followed. These experiments have not only sparked their curiosity but also instilled important lessons about science and everyday health! 👏🏼🤓
