Updated: Mar 21, 2023

Watch them grow! 🌱

Our J3 & J4 children ended the first term of school with a hands-on exploration in our mini garden! šŸ”

Our teachers introduced children to growing beans on their own 🫘🌱 Using a recycled plastic container, they were guided to scoop soil in it, then placed the seeds on the soil & watered them šŸŖ“šŸ’¦

Through this activity, our lil' ones got to put their motor skills to work while they learn to collaborate with their classmates šŸ‘¦šŸ»šŸ‘§šŸ» Gardening helps our kids learn many important life lessons too, such as patience & responsibility. They also learnt the rhythms of nature where they will experience joy 😁 when seeds sprout 🌱 & accept loss when things go awry šŸ„€šŸ˜”šŸ‘ŒšŸ»

They also got to learn that in order for plants to grow well, they require a lot of love & care ā™„ļøšŸŖ“as well as a clean environment. This has inspired them to continue exploring & caring for our mother nature šŸŖ“šŸŒšŸŒ³

Now, this lil' ones are on a mission to keep track on the growth of their plants over the term break! šŸŖ“šŸ«£šŸ¤žšŸ¼Kids, remember that apart from showering them with water šŸ’¦ everyday, you gotta shower them with extra care & loves too ya! ā™„ļøšŸŒ± Can't wait to see your magic giant beanstalks 🌱 when you return to school after the break!šŸ¤žšŸ¼šŸ˜‰
