If the job of a child is to learn to speak, then the job of a teacher is to communicate with children. From learning the sounds that make up words, to figuring out what words on a page means, this is an amazing accomplishments in a child’s development. At Tadika Kurnia, we help children to achieve excellent language and literacy skills with several techniques.

We enhance children’s language and literacy skills through playing games, where children will be instructed to look for the items and write down the words when they find every item. We also use flashcards that feature pictures of common items and their names to help children associate words with objects. It helps to improve children’s knowledge and ability to understand words that can assist children on their literacy skills and improve their knowledge on languages.

LEARN TO FORM SENTENCES

Some children may have a hard time understanding and using correct sentence structure. In order to write and learn the language, we teach children to create sentences by putting words in the correct orders. We teach children the difference between grammatical correctness and meaning as well as knowing when to use an appropriate punctuation marks when forming sentences.

Reading is one of the basic skills for learning languages and writing. When children are able to read, then they will understand text and be introduced to new vocabulary. Reading also exposes children to different ways of using words and a variety of sentence structures that they can use in their writing and spoken language.
